So a client’s website went down today. It was actually a couple of website for the same client, all on the same VPS.
When I logged into Plesk, there was a message saying that Plesk had an issue while updating. After much consternation, the tech gal at GoDaddy pointed me in the right direction: there’s a bootstrapper repair utility that’ll fix the installation.
To do this:
- SSH into your server.
- Go to /usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/
- List out the contents of this directory to find the exact file name of your plesk bootstrapper, in this case mine was pp11.0.9-bootstrapper
- Run pp11.0.9-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair
- I’ll run through everything and fix it!
